












Eric CHARDONÂ :
Coming from a family of musicians, it is at the Royal Conservatoire in Brussels and Mons where Eric Chardon obtained his “premiers prix†and advanced diplomas with distinctions in playing cello and chamber music.
Being as a soloist and a chamber music player (namely with the Quartet “Ponticelloâ€, the Brussels String Quartet, as well as with such artistes as Philippe Koch, Luc Dewez and Marc Grauwels), Eric Chardon performs at the Festival de Lasne, Festival de Musique de Chambre de Baia Mare, in Romania, Israel, Tel-Aviv, Jaffa, Bethlehem, Haifa and Jerusalem. He works as a soloist with the Orchestra Sinfonica Ibaque in Colombia, Italy, France, Poland, Spain and Russia.
He collaborates regularly with the main Belgian orchestras, such as the Opera Royal de Wallonie, the Belgian National Orchestra, the Orchestra Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, as well as the Orchestre Philarmonique du Luxembourg.
At present Eric Chardon is a teacher of chamber music at the Royal Conservatoire in Mons.
